An
unlined or improperly lined chimney is a potential hazard
to your home and your family. The purpose of a flue liner
is to completely contain the products of combustion, including
smoke, creosote, heat, and carbon monoxide.
The cast-in-place chimney relining system was first invented
60 years ago in England. A lava based compound with extremely
high insulating properties is pumped in around an inflatable
chimney former that once removed creates a perfect flue every
time. The lava based compound is combined with a bonder that
enables it to grip the sides of your chimney. This increases
the integrity of your chimney as it seals all cracks, fills
in for missing mortar and secures loose bricks. The system
is UL tested and listed to UL Standard 1777.
